FY 2012 CONTINUUM OF CARE


The Guam Housing and Urban Renewal Authority (GHURA) as a Collaborative Applicant of  Guam Homeless Coalition (GHC) submitted its application for 2012 Continuum of Care (CoC) homeless assistance program funds in behalf of the Government of Guam.  The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) provides the CoC funds that are used for programs that sustain shelter operations and supportive services needs of Guam's homeless population.

In the 2012 CoC grant cycle, the Guam Homeless Coalition is pursuing the renewal of nine projects that will expire during 2013, and submitted two new proposals, the Centralized Intake /Coordinated Assessment system that will unify all processes within a CoC.  GHC also submitted proposal under the Permanent Housing Bonus to put in operation Y Jahame, a permanent housing program for homeless individuals with disabilities.
