On behalf of the management and staff of
the Guam Housing and Urban Renewal Authority (GHURA)
welcome to our Website.
When most people hear the name GHURA, they
think about Public Housing or possibly the Section 8
Housing Voucher Program – what they usually don’t
realize is that our authority touches almost everyone’s
life on Guam, no matter what age they may be …
from building Head Start Classrooms for young children
to constructing senior citizen centers for our manamko
… We also act as points of contact and train people
on how to comply with Section 504, the Fair Housing
Act, and the American’s With Disabilities Act
… in other words, GHURA has made a difference
in our Guam community for the last 40 years.
Our goal for this Website is to help keep
the public informed about our various programs and how
they can help you, on an individual basis. If you have
any questions, concerns or comments, please feel free
